We only work with Xero Accounting Software, however we are looking for a payroll expert to manage various clients across various teams and platforms with the view to streamline processes, using software to create the best and most efficient payroll solution.

Finding the right person to fill the role is foremost. We are looking for a full time member of staff, who must be able to work the last 2 weeks of every calendar month.

The successful candidate will:

  • Run payroll across 100+ clients of varying sizes
  • Keep up to date with relevant Payroll/HMRC/Pension Compliance
  • Liaise with HMRC and relevant Pension Scheme Providers on behalf of the client
  • Have knowledge of statutory leave entitlements
  • Know how to process Salary Sacrifice deductions
  • Reconciliation payroll accounts monthly including YE processes
  • Have a basic knowledge in HR
  • Process P11D’s
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management
  • Have the skills to ‘own’ all client payroll’s and build a team and processes for scaling up over time

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as Xero, Brightpay and Cirtus HR
  • Proficiency in using accounting software for payroll processing
  • Excellent data entry skills with high level of accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
