We are absolutely over the moon to announce that our very own Emma Fox, founder and
MD of Fresh Financials, has been shortlisted for Bookkeeper of the Year at the prestigious International Association of Bookkeepers’ (IAB) Awards.
This is the culmination of years of hard work, in which Emma has remained at the forefront of her profession by using the latest technology to help our clients, and to stand out from the crowd.
Emma has been bookkeeping since 1997, and in 2013 she founded Fresh Financials as a flexible and forward-thinking firm. Today, we offer all clients daily bookkeeping services to make sure they’re dealing with only the most up-to-date financial information, each and every day.
Using the best cloud accounting software, apps, and integrations, we automate where possible, removing tedious admin and manual tasks, saving precious time, and allowing us to focus our efforts on more impactful activities.
In addition to client work, Emma has also been instrumental in bringing Fresh Financials to work with one of the local schools here in East Sussex, training their GCSE Business students to have a 101 understanding of Bookkeeping, and helping them achieve their Xero certifications.
Here’s what she had to say about the nomination:
“After all this time, I still love what I do, and to win an IAB Award would be the icing on the cake as a bookkeeper. It would reflect greatly on the journey Fresh Financials has taken over the last 5 years, the tireless work of my team, and it would also be something tangible to show our clients that we’re still at the cutting edge of our industry.”
Please join us in congratulating Emma, and keep your fingers crossed as the event draws near!
The IAB Awards Ceremony will be held on the 6th of December at Westminster Palace, and will be hosted by Fabian Hamilton MP. Good luck to all those nominated.
